Media Technology Services is a strategic partner with participating school districts in providing content, curriculum and compliance.  Our mission is to provide the depth and breadth of materials that will meet the needs of educators while ensuring compliance with changing standards and mandates(Media Technology Services Web Site).

NOVELNY:

“Novel is a statewide virtual library provided free to the public by the New York State Library.  It is currently a project funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant to the New York State Library by Federal Institute of Museum of Library Services (IMLS)” (SLS Web Site).

Oneida/Herkimer School Library System (SLS):

“The Oneida/Herkimer School Library System services are legislated and funded through the state Education Department's Division of Library Development.  The Oneida/Herkimer BOCES is an organization of 24 school districts and 7 nonpublic schools in the Oneida/Herkimer area that provides library support and services to member libraries under a plan of service approved by the Commissioner of Education (SLS brochure).
