To Vote You Must Be:
· A U.S. citizen
· A resident of the Westmoreland Central School District
· At least 18 years of age
· Registered to vote with your county board of elections
To Vote You:
· Do NOT have to own property
· Do NOT have to be a parent/guardian
· Do NOT have to have a child or children in the school district
The following proposition will appear on the ballot*:
Shall the proposition set forth in the legal notice of this special voter meeting, authorizing construction, reconstruction and equipping of existing school buildings and facilities, site, and incidental improvements, all at an estimated maximum aggregate cost of $7,435,800; with the expenditure of $1,465,550 from the existing capital reserve fund for such costs, the issuance of not to exceed $5,970,250 of debt obligations of the School District therefor, and the levy of a tax in annual installments therefor, with such tax to be partially offset by state aid available therefor, all as more fully described in said notice, be approved?
*Due to the General Election immediately preceding the capital project vote, electronic voting machines, historically supplied by the Oneida County Board of Elections, will not be available. Instead, paper ballots will be utilized for the capital project vote.
