To help students and staff start 2021 on a positive note, the District Wellness Committee is kicking-off its first initiative, “Wellness Wednesdays,” on January 6. As part of the initiative, each school building will be participating in healthy activities every Wednesday.

Once again this holiday season, the Primary Elementary School created a “giving tree” to support a good cause. Six boxes of snacks were collected and then donated to the Country Pantry in Clark Mills.

Students in the Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (Zi3) Club participated in a gingerbread house contest in December. Emma Szarek received the most votes for her gingerbread house and won a gift card.

Despite students learning remotely until at least January 11, the district is still mandated to disclose positive COVID-19 cases. Please know, since the start of Thanksgiving Recess and transition to remote instruction, six staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
