Math and Science night

Protecting animals from a thunderstorm and predicting the weather on their birthday! Kindergarten students and their families experienced what it was like to be a meteorologist on Wednesday night.

At the Primary Elementary School, students showed their families what they’ve been learning in the weather and climate unit. In class, they completed engineering challenges in teams, made weather tools showing how thermometers work, and created sunshades to prevent the sun from heating the earth’s surface.

As a souvenir, families made weather tools to bring home with them that night.
