WESTMORELAND, N.Y.- Madalynne Enos, a junior at Westmoreland Central School District, has broken a record for all-time leading scorer.
At the Girls Varsity Basketball game on February 12 against Frankfort-Schuyler, Maddy scored her 1,260 point surpassing the now previous all-time leading scorer by 32 points. Luke Fredsell, who graduated with the class of 2018, held this title up until now. Fredsell is currently an Assistant Basketball Coach for the men’s basketball team at Utica University. The girls won 52-44 against Frankfort-Schuyler.
In December, Maddy reached an incredible milestone of scoring 1,000 points in her basketball career at Westmoreland! Congratulations Maddy! Good luck to our Lady Bulldogs as they head to sectionals!
