Dear Westmoreland Community,
I want to express a huge thank you to the 624 participants who shared their thoughts on our recent survey pertaining to the use of internet-enabled devices (cell phones) during the school day. Of the 624 participants, 477 different thoughts were offered, which received 10,523 ratings. The ratings ratio was awesome, much, much more than we expected.
We are committed to using this information if we have the opportunity to form our own in-district policy. As of today, April 30, we are not sure if there will be a statewide ban or if each district will have the ability to create their own policy. I will keep you informed as we learn more from NYS.
