The Westmoreland Central School District is excited to welcome Luke Willson to the Bulldog family! Luke joined us in July and will be overseeing the district’s budget, finances, payroll, and other key operational aspects.
Luke brings strong financial expertise to Westmoreland. He previously worked at the Unadilla Valley School District, where he gained valuable experience in school finance, and at Fitzgerald, DePietro & Wojnas CPAs in Utica. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting, making him the perfect fit for the district's Business Official.
When asked why he chose education, Luke explained that he was drawn to the opportunity to pursue a rewarding career that makes a difference. As for why Westmoreland, he said the district, “had a reputation of a good culture", and "it's a good place to work!"
Outside of crunching numbers, Luke enjoys spending time working on machinery and cars and has a passion for farming.
