WESTMORELAND, N.Y. – On August 27, the Westmoreland Central School District welcomed families for two important information nights to kick off the 2025–2026 school year.
Incoming Kindergarten students and their families attended orientation, where they were introduced to their teachers, classrooms, and the routines that will help make the transition to school a smooth one. Families also learned more about what to expect throughout the year and how to best support their children.
The Multiage program and Grades 1–2 held their annual Open House/Meet the Teacher Night. Parents and students had the chance to check out their classrooms, meet teachers, and hear presentations about the year ahead. Principal, Dr. Jessica Maine, shared details about curriculum, classroom expectations, and upcoming opportunities for student growth and success.
Both sessions set a positive tone for the new school year, ensuring that students and families feel informed, supported, and ready to begin a successful 2025–2026 school year together.
