Mr. Cittadino

We are excited to welcome Peter Cittadino as Westmoreland High School's new Library Media Specialist!

With a background in nonprofit leadership and communications, including 17 years with the American Cancer Society and service as Public Relations Director at the Utica Zoo, Mr. Cittadino found his true calling in education. After earning his Master’s degree in Library Science from the University at Buffalo in 2023, he served as a substitute at Waterville and Westmoreland, and most recently as Library Media Specialist for the Johnstown City School District.

“I want to help students succeed by guiding them to reliable information, teaching them to think critically, and fostering a lifelong love of reading and learning,” he said.

Mr. Cittadino has strong ties to the Bulldog family. He completed his student teaching at Westmoreland and his wife, Mrs. Cittadino, is a science teacher here. Outside of school, he enjoys history, reading, photography, painting, and cheering for the Los Angeles Dodgers, along with spending time with his three dogs: Porter, Jersey, and Betty.

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Cittadino to the Bulldog clan!
