The Westmoreland Pop Warner Pee Wee Cheerleading team is making history! After an outstanding performance at the local Tri-Valley Pop Warner competition at the Adirondack Bank Center in October where they earned 1st place, a Hit Zero, and the Best Jump Award, the team advanced to the Regional Cheer Competition in New Jersey.
This past weekend, the Pee Wee girls went to Regionals and once again brought home 1st place, earning a well deserved spot at the National Competition in North Carolina this December! According to Coach, Kayla Lawrence, this is the first time Westmoreland Cheer has made it to Nationals!
The combined team is made up of athletes from Westmoreland, Oriskany, and Clinton. Representing Westmoreland are: Annabella Coogan, Claire Evans, Emma Fazekas, Olivia Miner, Vaira Lawrence, Amelia Otter, and Sophia Smith. “We are so proud of them," said Coach, Kayla Lawrence.
Congratulations to these talented and hardworking athletes on this incredible achievement! Your Bulldog community is cheering you on all the way to Nationals!
