A local resident recently made a generous donation of homemade crocheted hats and gloves to our primary school students. Kathy Bauer, an alumna of Westmoreland School, wanted to give back to the school community by helping children in need, as well as those who may occasionally need extra warmth during outdoor activities.
Kathy thoughtfully spent her time creating each item by hand, ensuring that our students will be comfortable and prepared during the colder months. Her kindness and dedication truly reflect the spirit of community and care that makes Westmoreland School so special.
Thank you, Kathy, for thinking of our little ones and for your continued support of our school. With the winter season here, these hats and gloves will certainly come in handy as students enjoy playing in the snow during outdoor recess.
