Westmoreland Primary Elementary students enjoyed a memorable and well-deserved field trip to the Marquee Cinema in New Hartford, where they spent the day relaxing and having fun together while watching Zootopia 2 on the big screen. The trip provided an exciting change of pace from the classroom and gave students an opportunity to celebrate their hard work as the week came to a close.
To make the experience even more special, each student received a voucher for a drink and a box of popcorn, adding to the authentic movie-theater experience. Laughter, excitement, and big smiles filled the theater as students settled into their seats and enjoyed the film with classmates and teachers.
This field trip was a wonderful way to kick off the Holiday recess, allowing students to unwind and create positive memories before heading into the break. It also served as a reminder of what can be accomplished through teamwork and community support. The entire event was funded by the successful Bundt cake fundraiser held at the beginning of the school year, demonstrating how those early efforts directly benefited students later on.
Overall, the trip was a great success and a perfect ending to the week, combining fun, celebration, and appreciation for the school community that made it all possible.
