The Westmoreland Teachers Association has named Adeline Hinman as the February 2026 Student of the Month.
Each month, all members of the junior class are eligible for the award, with the recipient selected by faculty and staff. Students must maintain a minimum average of 80, demonstrate strong citizenship and character, and actively participate in school and community activities.
Adeline is involved in many school organizations, including Drama Club, High School Band and Chorus, Select Choir, Broadway Voices, National Honor Society, Journalism, Mathletics, and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
She is also active in the community, volunteering at events such as the school craft fair, Trunk-or-Treat, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, cemetery clean-up, the chicken barbecue, Operation Christmas Child, and helping run the school talent show and concession stand.
Adeline plans to attend a four-year SUNY college and major in marketing or business. She is the daughter of Crystal Hinman and DeForest Hinman.
