Students in Mrs. Notaro’s 9th grade Art 1 classes recently completed a unique and creative project that challenged them to design and build their own model floor plans. The assignment combined creativity, planning, and attention to detail as students imagined and constructed miniature layouts of homes and buildings.
Throughout the project, students worked on designing floor plans that included different rooms, thoughtful layouts, and creative details. After planning their designs, they built three-dimensional models that brought their ideas to life. The completed projects were put on display, allowing others to see the creativity and effort that went into each one.
Volunteer judges visited the display to review the projects and select the best overall model from each class. The judges considered creativity, craftsmanship, and overall design while making their selections.
Every student did a fantastic job with the assignment, and the display highlighted the wide range of creative ideas and designs developed by the class. Congratulations to the winning students, who received a certificate and a prize in recognition of their outstanding work.
Mrs. Notaro’s Art 1 classes continue to provide students with opportunities to express their creativity while learning important artistic and design skills.
