The Westmoreland Drama Club delivered an unforgettable performance of The Addams Family at the historic Stanley Theatre on March 13 and 14. Both nights featured packed audiences and a full stage of talented student performers, creating an abnormally fantastic show that audiences thoroughly enjoyed.
True to the spirit of the beloved characters, the cast and crew embraced the wonderfully strange and spooky world of the Addams family. From the lively musical numbers to the creative staging and costumes, the production showcased the dedication, creativity, and talent of Westmoreland’s students. The performances brought laughter, energy, and excitement to the stage, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Performing at the Stanley Theatre was a special opportunity for the Westmoreland Drama Club. The historic venue has hosted countless well-known performers and productions over the years, and having the chance to share that same stage was an incredible experience for the students. It was a proud moment for the entire school community and a testament to the strength of the district’s performing arts program.
The production also benefited from the work of professional photographer SweetBay Images, owned by Sarah Badowski. Sarah captured incredible photos from before, during, and after the performances. She generously shared all of the images with cast members and their families so they could relive and enjoy the memories of the show. The Westmoreland community is grateful for her time, talent, and generosity in documenting such a special event.
