In March, students were given the opportunity to submit original poetry for a chance to be published in a national collection. We are proud to announce that three of our students have been selected by a nationwide panel of educators.
Submissions were carefully evaluated based on creativity, structure, use of poetic techniques, and age-appropriate writing. The selected students demonstrated exceptional talent in each of these areas, earning them a place in the 2026 Young American Poetry Digest, which will be published this fall.
The honored student poets are:
Sam Whelan, Grade 8
Vivianna Eddy, Grade 9
Harold Storey, Grade 10
This is an outstanding achievement, and we commend these students for their creativity, dedication, and hard work. We look forward to celebrating their published work later this year.
