Westmoreland Central School District was proud to host the Elementary All-County Music Festival, welcoming student musicians from 16 area school districts for a day filled with collaboration, creativity, and exceptional performances.
The event brought together some of the county’s most talented young musicians, who spent time rehearsing and preparing under the direction of guest conductors before taking the stage. The result was a series of outstanding chorus, band, and orchestra performances that showcased both the students’ dedication and their love of music.
The day began with a warm welcome from Superintendent Migliori, who delivered opening remarks to greet guests and thank the many individuals who made the festival possible. Our gymnasium was filled to capacity, with families, friends, educators, and community members gathering to support and celebrate these students. It was especially meaningful to welcome area superintendents and music teachers, whose continued commitment to music education helps provide opportunities like this for students across the region.
Events like the All-County Music Festival highlight the importance of the arts in education. They not only give students the chance to refine their musical skills, but also allow them to connect with peers from neighboring districts, build confidence, and experience the joy of performing as part of a larger ensemble.
Westmoreland is honored to have hosted such a special event, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to its success. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our district music department for their leadership, organization, and dedication throughout the entire process. Their hard work ensured a memorable and meaningful experience for all involved.
We also extend our appreciation to the students, families, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly. Congratulations to all of the performers on an incredible job!
