The Westmoreland Tennis Team delivered an outstanding performance at the league tournament held on April 30, earning an impressive 4th place finish out of 11 competing schools. The team demonstrated determination, skill, and resilience throughout the day under the leadership of Head Coach Gamboa.
Highlighting the tournament was the exceptional play of Brody Faffley and Richard Ziegler II, who captured the CSC Title for 1st Doubles. In what proved to be a truly unforgettable match against Cooperstown, the duo showed incredible perseverance. Trailing 4–7 and facing a Cooperstown serve, they mounted a remarkable comeback to secure a thrilling 10–8 victory.
Their performance exemplifies the hard work and competitive spirit of the entire team. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches on a fantastic showing!
