All members of the junior class are initially eligible for the WTA Student of the Month award. Recipients are selected by faculty and staff based on the following criteria: a minimum average of 80, strong citizenship and character, and active participation in both school and community activities.

April’s recipient exemplifies these qualities through her outstanding involvement and achievements. She is actively engaged in numerous school organizations and athletic programs, including NJHS, National Honor Society, Leadership (with Mr. Woods), and multiple sports such as softball, soccer, and volleyball. A dedicated student-athlete, she is a Scholar Athlete, serves as captain of the softball team, has earned All-Star recognition, and has received multiple travel softball MVP awards.

Her future plans include pursuing a degree in teaching special or behavioral education, with her choice of college currently undecided. She is the daughter of Andrea and Jeff Metz.

Congratulations to Abrianna Metz, the April WTA Student of the Month!
