The Westmoreland High School senior class received their yearbooks this week and gathered before school for a special dedication ceremony honoring this year's yearbook dedicatee, Mrs. Cutler.

For more than 21 years, Mrs. Cutler has been a beloved member of the Westmoreland school community. Throughout her career, she has worn many hats, serving as a dedicated music teacher, legendary marching band director, orchestra conductor, class advisor, mentor, and trusted supporter of students. Her positive influence extends far beyond the classroom, where she is known for her sense of humor, encouragement, and ability to connect with students from all walks of life.
Students who have spent time in the music department know that Mrs. Cutler's office is a place filled with laughter, conversation, and support. Whether discussing music, sharing stories, or offering advice, she has created a welcoming environment where students feel valued and heard.
In addition to her work at Westmoreland, Mrs. Cutler has served the music education community through leadership roles with professional organizations. She currently serves as the recording secretary for the Oneida County Music Educators' Association and previously held the position of president of the New York State Field Band Conference.
