Westmoreland Central School proudly inducted a new group of exceptional students into the National Honor Society (NHS), recognizing their outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that honors high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to making a positive impact in their schools and communities. Students become eligible to apply based on their academic grade point average and are selected for membership through a comprehensive review of the NHS’s four pillars: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

This year’s inductees are:

  • Sean Acee

  • Caroline Brennan

  • Megan Brennan

  • Holly Bulischeck

  • Jordan DeLong

  • Kylee Faniglula

  • Keegan Hayes

  • Candis Kierpiec

  • Alina Kulpa

  • Henry Ramey

  • Nicolas Rentzis

  • Madison Robinson

  • Isabella Smith

During the induction ceremony, each student was presented with an official National Honor Society certificate in recognition of their accomplishments. As part of a cherished Westmoreland tradition, the newly inducted members signed the chapter’s official Honor Society book, preserving a legacy that dates back to the chapter’s establishment in 1975.

The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the National Honor Society Oath of Induction, symbolizing each student's commitment to maintaining high scholastic standards, demonstrating leadership, serving others, and upholding exemplary character.

Under the guidance of National Honor Society Advisor Mrs. Nolan, Westmoreland’s NHS chapter continues to make a positive impact through fundraisers, service projects, and community initiatives that benefit both the school district and the surrounding community. Membership in the organization reflects not only academic achievement but also a dedication to serving others and leading by example.

Westmoreland Central School congratulates these outstanding students on this significant accomplishment and welcomes them into a tradition of excellence that has spanned more than 50 years. We look forward to seeing the many ways they will continue to make a difference as members of the National Honor Society.

Congratulations to our newest National Honor Society inductees!
