Westmoreland Central School is proud to recognize Ashton Ricci for an outstanding accomplishment on the 2026 Central New York PGA Junior Tour!
The Central New York PGA Junior Tour provides young golfers throughout the region with the opportunity to compete in professionally run tournaments, develop their skills, and experience the challenges and rewards of competitive golf. The 2026 season featured more than 20 tournaments for boys and girls ages 9–18, with events held throughout Central New York.
Throughout the season, players competed for points toward the Player of the Year standings and qualification for the season-ending Junior Tour Championship. Major events, including the Junior Open and Junior PGA Championship Qualifier, offered players the opportunity to earn additional points as they competed against some of the region’s top junior golfers.
We are excited to congratulate Ashton Ricci on being named the 2026 Central New York PGA Junior Tour Champion in the Boys 14–15 division!
This accomplishment is a testament to Ashton’s hard work, dedication, consistency, and passion for the game of golf. Competing throughout an entire tournament season requires more than talent—it takes commitment, preparation, focus, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. Ashton’s success throughout the 2026 season demonstrates all of these qualities.
From tournament competition throughout the season to earning his place among the division’s top players, Ashton has represented himself and his school community with pride.
As the main Junior Tour season comes to a close in August at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, we congratulate Ashton on an impressive season and this well-deserved championship!
