The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway, and Westmoreland Central School District is off to a fantastic start! Our buildings were filled with excitement, smiles, and wonderful school spirit as students and staff returned to campus and began another year of learning, growth, and Bulldog pride.
The first days of school are always special. They mark the beginning of new opportunities, new friendships, new goals, and countless experiences that will help our students grow throughout the year. From our youngest learners taking their first steps into the classroom to our returning students reconnecting with friends and teachers, there was a great sense of energy and anticipation across the district.
Our faculty and staff have worked hard to prepare for the new school year, creating welcoming learning environments and making sure our students are ready for a successful year. We are grateful for their dedication, preparation, and commitment to providing our students with the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
We are also excited to welcome our new teachers and staff members to the Bulldog community! We look forward to the experience, enthusiasm, and new perspectives they will bring to Westmoreland. We know they will quickly become an important part of our school family.
As we begin the year, we are reminded of the importance of working together as a school community. Our students, families, teachers, staff, and community members all play an important role in making Westmoreland a special place to learn and grow. We look forward to the many accomplishments, activities, celebrations, and memories that the year ahead will bring.
