The first annual "Robotics Night" showcased creative and inspiring robots built by the 6th grade students in Mr. Kulpa's class. Students learned about and used the Hummingbird Robotics Kit along with Scratch X to program and animate their robots.  Classes were divided into collaborative teams to come up with a creative design to show their understanding of programming.  Designs ranged from whales and flying sheep to an interactive Minon that played baseball.  Servos, LED lights, and sound effects were some of the components used in the hummingbird kit to animate the robots. Students also recorded narratives to their robots that parents and guests were able to listen to by scanning a QR Code.
