Last year’s fourth grade students - - this year’s fifth grade students - - successfully programmed Finch robots at the end of the 2017-18 school year.
Using what they learned about Colonial America, student teams designed a character from that time period and programmed a robot to portray it.
Dressed in a costume representative of Colonial America, each Finch robot was programmed to speak, move and light up.
Coding is taught in grades K-4 by Ms. Reynolds.
