elementary students watching a movie

A group of Upper Elementary School students were allowed to take a break from class to kick back, relax and enjoy the holiday season.

But, they had to earn it.  Students watching movie

On December 19, a select, but very large group of third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students, watched β€œThe Grinch” in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. However, in order to receive an invitation to watch the movie, students were required to have consistently followed the Upper Elementary School’s rules, β€œThe Bulldog Four,” since October 1. The rules are:

-I will be responsible.
-I will give my best effort.
-I will be respectful and kind.
-I will be safe.

Teachers determined which students qualified for the holiday movie β€œincentive.” In addition to the movie, qualifying students were treated to popcorn donated by Marquee Cinemas in New Hartford.

The Upper Elementary School wishes everyone a happy holiday season!
