Just because winter is here, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the summertime taste of a chicken barbecue!
As a fundraiser, the Class of 2021 held a chicken barbecue on January 3. The chicken was cooked by Brooks’ Chicken BBQ. Pick-up was in the Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria.
A dinner cost $11 and included a half piece of chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll with butter, dessert cookie and a bottle of water.
Six hundred pieces of chicken were sold!
If you missed out this time, another Brooks’ Chicken BBQ will be held on April 3. More details will be announced soon.
