The second grade class held a STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) Night Celebration at the Primary Elementary School on April 29.

Student groups were given a habitat, animal (predator) and prey (food) that their animal would eat. Using their knowledge about different habitats and adaptations that animals have developed over time to survive in these habitats, they planned and designed three-dimensional animals. They also wrote about their creatures and the adaptations that help them to survive.  Three students in front of animal project

The three-dimensional animals were on display in the STEAM rooms for all to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who attended the gallery!
