Twenty-one students were formally inducted into the Westmoreland High School Kioga Chapter of the National Honor Society on June 5. 
The new members were inducted during a ceremony held in the Jr./Sr. High School auditorium. Prior to the induction, the National Honor Society’s officers spoke about the areas inductees were judged on. President Danielle Flack spoke about leadership; Vice President Rachel VanDeusen spoke about scholarship; Secretary Angelo Carletta spoke about character; and Treasurer Abigail Hansson spoke about service. Mrs. Lane, National Honor Society advisor, also offered remarks.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the cafeteria. Refreshments and cookies were served.
