The Westmoreland Central School District’s Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (Zi3) is a place where students, staff and community members can collaborate, research, design, build and inspire. Zi3 is, once again, thrilled to announce three exciting summer camps for students during July and August: Star Wars STEAM Camp; Maker Camp; and Mythological Bot Camp.
There is a small fee of $10 per child per camp to pay for materials and supplies. Payment may be made by cash or check on the first day of the camp your child chooses to attend. Please make checks payable to “Westmoreland Central School.”

Star Wars STEAM Camp
Ages 9-12
July 8-11 (Monday-Thursday)
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. daily
Students will explore science, technology, engineering, art and math with a “galaxy far, far away” theme. Create your own Death Star tractor beam capturing the Millennium Falcon without touching it, build your own worker droid or Rey’s speed glider, design your own R2-D2 that transmits a hologram message, and much more!
Maker Camp
Ages 8-12
July 15-18 (Monday-Thursday)
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. daily
Don’t pass up the opportunity to be an awesome maker of arts and crafts! Students will learn how to create, design and build their own no-sew lion pillow, laser cut jigsaw puzzle, painted dinosaur silhouette, spring wreath, and so much more!
Mythological Boot Camp
Ages 9-12
August 19-22 (Monday-Thursday)
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. daily
Do you like Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus or perhaps have an interest in Greek, Roman or Egyptian mythology? Do you like coding and art? Then come create your awesome projects on mythological monsters, muses, heroes or villains! Projects include building your own Mythological interactive shadow box, designing your own themed t-shirt, creating and printing your own 3D character, baking delicious Greek butter cookies, and so much more!
