As we approach the end of the school year, here are a few reminders…
Thurs. 6/20 Kindergarten Moving Up at 5:30 in the High School Auditorium
Mon. 6/24 Olympic Day Grades K-6 at the Primary Elementary
Opening Ceremony begins at 9:15
The Primary Parent Parking will be blocked after 9:00 in order for our Upper Elementary
students to walk over.
Tues. 6/25 Olympic Day Rain Date
Class lists will be finalized over the summer. Welcome letters will go home after Aug. 1st.
This has been a year of transitions and new beginnings. Our teachers and staff have come
together to create a true center for early learning that fosters collaborative exploration and love
of learning. Our continued focus on literacy as it relates to all subject areas has helped our
students to grow as readers and writers. We are blessed with a gifted group of educators in the
Primary Building that always puts kids first. I am humbled by their energy, enthusiasm, and creativity.
We, at school, appreciate and welcome your feedback. Thank you so much for your continued
involvement in all the activities we have here at school and for supporting us in meeting the
needs of all children.
We ended this year with participation in the Global Kind Project. We talked about kindness,
gratitude, and empathy. Your kids participated with enthusiasm and commitment to this project.
I am so impressed by their caring for each other!
We say good-bye to our 2nd graders as they transition to the Upper Elementary School. I hope
they take the lessons they have learned with us and spread their gifts to others. We welcome
our new Kindergarteners and Preschoolers into our Primary Family in September.
I am grateful for the trust you place in us to teach and guide your children as they begin those
important years of early learning. I wish you a happy and healthy summer!
