Around 75 elementary students participated in “Discovery Learning” August 19-30.
Students explored a variety of topics while also learning about collaboration and team work. Teachers in grades K-3 served as tutors for the two-week program.
“It was a great way for students to get ready for the new school year,” Primary Elementary School Principal Mrs. O’Connell said.
On the final day of the program, there was a special celebration. Students presented their learning to their peers and were treated to ice cream.
