First and Second Grade Students Participate in “Fun Run”

In September, first and second grade students participated in the 19th Annual Westmoreland Primary “Fun Run.”

Mr. Williams, physical education teacher at the Primary Elementary School, says the event started in 2001 and is a “fun” way of testing students’ cardiovascular endurance.

First grade students run 200 meters, while second grade students run 300 meters.
