Jared Campbell singing for elementary students

Jared Campbell, an award winning singer and songwriter from upstate New York who has been traveling the country performing for thousands of people and hundreds of schools for more than a decade, visited the Westmoreland Central School District on January 6. Campbell performed at the Primary Elementary School in the morning and the Upper Elementary School in the afternoon.

Campbell’s performances mix humor, stories of life on the road and personal experiences to relate to the audience set before him. He reaches his audience through the power of music with songs he’s written about some of the most crucial elements to living out your life with purpose. His message focuses on overcoming obstacles, anti-bullying, respect, leadership and having an amazing outlook on life.

Campbell has two different shows for elementary school students, one for grades K-2 and another for grades 3-5. The K-2 show consists of fun sing-a-long songs that describe what it’s like to be a superhero at school every day, such as “No Bullies Allowed” and “I Am Responsible For Me.” The 3-5 show is targeted toward the “changing wave” in the social and emotional status of the upper grades in an elementary setting. There is plenty of humor, engaging songs and powerful messages of how to become “world changers” and to create the best culture possible in a school setting.

Jared Campbell also visited Westmoreland last year. The Westmoreland Central School District would like to thank him for visiting and his inspiring message!
