During the month of February, the Upper Elementary School spread kindness in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
As part of Congressman Anthony Brindisi’s “Valentines for Veterans” program, students in grades 3-6 made Valentine’s Day cards for veterans as an expression of appreciation for their service. The cards were then sent to Congressman Brindisi’s Utica office so they could be distributed to local veterans in time for Valentine’s Day.
Students and staff also brought in dozens of new pairs of socks and donated them to the Rome Rescue Mission.
Thank you to all who took time to spread some kindness!
