Jared Campbell, an award winning singer and songwriter from upstate New York and frequent visitor to the Westmoreland Central School District, performed a virtual concert for K-6 students on May 1.

Jared Campbell

Campbell, who has performed for thousands of people and hundreds of schools across the country for more than a decade, is currently performing from his home studio due to COVID-19. His performances mix humor, stories of life on the road and personal experiences to relate to the audience set before him. He reaches his audience through the power of music with songs he’s written about some of the most crucial elements to living out your life with purpose. His message focuses on overcoming obstacles, anti-bullying, respect, leadership and having an amazing outlook on life.

Some of Campbell’s most popular songs are “The Superhero Song,” “No Bullies Allowed,” “I Am Responsible for Me” and “Change the World.” Due to the current circumstances, he’s encouraging students to persevere with virtual learning and the “new normal.”

The Westmoreland Central School District thanks Jared for the awesome and uplifting concert!
