Students in the Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (Zi3) Club participated in a gingerbread house contest in December.
Club members were sent home materials to build their own version of a gingerbread house. Fellow students and teachers were then asked to vote for their favorite house.
Emma Szarek received the most votes for her gingerbread house, which is pictured to the right. Nathan Kubat came in a close second.
For winning, Emma received a gift card to Hot Off the Brick Pizzeria in Westmoreland.
