At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 12, a deer broke through a window in the library at the Primary Elementary School. The deer quickly jumped back out the window.  window broken by deer   

At the time of the very unexpected incident, students were in the library and immediately moved to the computer lab. As a precaution, students were checked by the school nurse. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The broken window was boarded up and blood from the deer was cleaned by maintenance staff. The library is temporarily closed until the window can be replaced.
