There was no shortage of superheroes!

The Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (Zi3) hosted a free virtual Superhero STEAM Night for K-8 families on March 25.  Student with activity

As part of the event, student participants - - many dressed up as their favorite superhero - - completed a variety of STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) activities. Students had the choice of making a Baby Groot, Batman’s Glider or Spiderman’s Web & Pom Pom Popper. Every student also received a DIY Superhero Mask Kit for their chosen activity in advance.

“A great time was had by all, and more fun is on the way” said Mrs. Davis, Zi3 coordinator. “After having to cancel last year’s summer camps due to COVID-19, the Zi3 is planning to offer a variety of camps this summer. More information will be released soon.”

The Zi3 would like to thank Mrs. Bova, Mrs. Haggerty, Mrs. Hecklau, Mr. Lampert, Mr. Pacicca and Mrs. Parzych, who all volunteered to facilitate the activities. The Zi3 also thanks everyone who participated.

The Zi3 hopes to see many students this summer!
