Two informational meetings for Jr./Sr. High School parents were held on Wednesday, April 14.
The meetings, one for parents of students in grades 7-9 and another for parents of students in grades 10-12, were hosted by Jr./Sr. High School Principal Mr. Saxton and held virtually. Mr. Saxton discussed grading, local examinations, Regents examinations and Regents examination exemptions.

7th and 8th Grade Math Exam – May 5, 2021
8th Grade Science Exam – June 7, 2021
Regents Examination Dates
English Language Arts – June 17, 2021, 8:15 a.m.
Living Environment – June 22, 2021, 8:15 a.m.
Algebra 1 – June 23, 2021, 8:15 a.m.
Earth Science – June 24, 2021, 8:15 a.m.
Key Points
· Grading policy will remain the same for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
· 7th and 8th grade Mathematics, ELA and 8th grade Science exam dates are posted above.
· Remote students do not have to come in for any of the state assessments.
· Remote students can choose to come in to take the exams.
· Four Regents examinations will be administered (Algebra, LE, Earth Science and ELA).
· Parents and students will be given the option to keep June Regents exam grade or take the exemption.
· All other Regents exams will be exempt for students.
· Students MUST pass the course to get credit for the Regents examination exemption.
· Summer school information will be posted at a later date.
