A Message from Superintendent Migliori

It was reported to Mr. Saxton that a student made a threatening comment on a bus on the afternoon of Thursday, May 28, that caused concern among those who overheard it. Mr. Saxton immediately notified our School Resource Officer, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, and me, and we requested that an investigation be conducted.

I was informed that a thorough investigation had been completed and that the threat was determined to be non-credible. While we are grateful for this outcome, please know that any comments that alarm members of our school community will always be taken seriously and will never be tolerated, even if made in a seemingly joking manner. Such incidents will continue to be investigated using all available resources.

We appreciate individuals who share any concerning information with us and want you to know that we will respond immediately to all reports. We also appreciate the quick response from law enforcement and the professionalism demonstrated throughout the investigation.

Safety remains our highest priority, and together we will continue working to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our entire school community.
