Seniors Lauren Murphy and Nicolas Sovare were selected as the Section III Scholar Athletes from Westmoreland.
Lauren is the daughter of Patrick and Stacy Murphy. She has a cumulative GPA of 98.86 and played Varsity Tennis and Varsity Basketball. Lauren plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College in the fall to major in Childhood Education.
Nicolas is the son of Joseph and Carla Sovare. He has a cumulative GPA of 95.38 and was a member of Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track & Field. Nicolas plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology in the fall to major in Physics.
