The Boys Varsity Track & Field team capped off a shortened, yet successful, season at Sectionals at South Lewis on June 9.
Senior Jason Robinson placed first in all three wheelchair events he completed in – 100m (18.08); 1-mile (4:13.41); and 2-mile (8:55.86).
Sophomore Payton Livingston placed fourth in the long jump (17 feet, 6 inches).
Last, but not least, Patrick Amarasinghe, John Stopera, Daelen Weston and Anthony Tisi placed fifth in the 4x800m relay (10:03.63), shattering their previous best time.
“There were plenty of awesome personal improvements all season,” said Boys Varsity Track & Field Coach Neal Bartlett. “Everyone should be proud of their accomplishments.”
There is no State Championship Meet this year.
