The final year of high school can be both memorable and stressful. The COVID-19 pandemic – and the many challenges it poses – has given seniors even more to sift through and deal with.
However, despite the constant hurdles of living during a global pandemic, the Westmoreland Class of 2022 is remaining optimistic.
The class gathered on the Jr./Sr. High School football field bright and early on September 20 for a “Senior Sunrise.” Together, seniors watched the sunrise at about 6:46 a.m. They were joined by some staff members.
Everyone was treated to donuts, muffins, coffee and hot chocolate.
The Class of 2022 is determined to maintain a sunny outlook on the future, one day at a time.
