Dear Upper Elementary Families,
I want to thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to keep everyone safe and healthy at the Upper Elementary School. We apologize that we had to change course for our in-person open house this year that was scheduled to take place on September 22nd. 
Our teachers and staff at the Upper Elementary take pride in keeping the home-to-school communication lines open with families. In place of our in-person open house, the Upper Elementary will be holding a Virtual Open House on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.
With the assistance of our outstanding IT department, all families will have the opportunity to view their child(ren)’s classrooms, learn about their child(ren)’s teachers through a recorded video and see what they have been working on this school year. All of the teachers and staff have recorded introduction videos and have posted important information links in their classrooms for parents to view. The program that we are using is very user-friendly and captures the real feel of the Upper Elementary.
Before families are granted access to the Virtual Open House, I will be hosting a live opening statement to give a rundown of all the great things that have been happening at the Upper Elementary, as well as answer any questions families may have. I will then post the link for the Virtual Open House for families to enjoy at their own leisure.

6:00 p.m. - 6:20 p.m.: Opening statement from Mr. Haskell (Q&A)
6:20 p.m.: Families will be able to click on the virtual open house link and view their child(ren)'s classrooms, watch a recording from their teacher(s) and view any important links their teacher(s) posted. This link will be available on the district website for anyone who is not able to attend on Thursday night.
