A fun tradition – albeit in a slightly different setting – made its return.
The Jr./Sr. High School Student Council hosted the 2021 Homecoming Dance for students in grades 9-12 on October 22. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the first time the Homecoming Dance occurred since 2019. 
The theme of this year’s dance was, “Under the Stars,” and music was provided by DJ “Roscoe Red.” In order to comply with COVID-19 protocols and regulations, the informal dance took place in the Bus Garage with the overhead doors open. Unvaccinated students also had to submit a negative COVID-19 test to attend.
Despite the adjustments, the Homecoming Dance – and the sense of normalcy it provided – was welcomed with open arms. Fun was had by all!
