The Westmoreland Central School District is hosting a second COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the general community on Tuesday, December 21, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., in the Primary Elementary School cafeteria. The second clinic, which will also be run by the Upstate Family Health Center, Inc., is taking place three weeks after the first.
The following will be offered at the second clinic:
· First dose for children ages 5-11*
· Second dose for children ages 5-11**
· Booster shot for anyone who qualifies***
· First or second dose for anyone who qualifies
Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and boosters will be available.
No appointment is necessary, and those wishing to receive a vaccination can show up anytime between 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Parents/guardians – if your child(ren) is fully vaccinated, please notify the school nurse so the district’s records are up-to-date. Fully vaccinated children only need to quarantine after an exposure if they become symptomatic.

*The Upstate Family Health Center, Inc. is unable to return to Westmoreland in three/four weeks. Children or adults who receive the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine must make an appointment with the Upstate Family Health Center, Inc. or elsewhere to receive the second dose.
**For those who received their first shot at Westmoreland on November 30.
***You must be at least 16 years old to receive a Pfizer booster and at least 18 years old to receive a Moderna booster.
