The Westmoreland Girls Varsity Basketball team celebrated Senior Night, at home, on December 23, before taking on Adirondack. Each senior, along with their parents, were introduced before tip-off.
The Lady Bulldogs capped off Senior Night by defeating Adirondack, 53-28.
Westmoreland raced out to a 14-2 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back. Senior Samantha Wilson led all scorers with 18 points, and was one of four players to score at least eight points for Westmoreland. Fellow seniors Alexandra Albrecht and Alessandra Feldman each chipped in eight and Gabriella Moore scored 13.
Junior Ireland Payne led Adirondack with 15 points.
Congratulations to Westmoreland’s three seniors – Alexandra Albrecht, Alessandra Feldman and Samantha Wilson – and best of luck to the entire team the rest of the season!
