The Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (Zi3) is holding a “Together Again!” STEAM Night on Thursday, March 24, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., at the Upper Elementary School. It is the first time a Zi3 family night will be held in-person since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.  Zi3 Event Logo

The event is free and open to students in grades Pre-K-8 and their parents/guardians (adults are asked to work on projects with their children). The deadline to register is Thursday, March 17. To register, click here.

The “Together Again!” STEAM Night will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). As part of the registration process, participants can select two of three activities to complete. Participants will be assigned to one of the activities based on registration order and availability. There will also be “free form sessions” open to everyone to enjoy. With the help of volunteer teachers, every participant can make a binary coded bracelet or racing balloon rocket, as well as play on an imagination station. Refreshments will be provided.

The Zi3 kindly asks each family for a $5 donation per student participant (maximum $10 per family with two or more students) to help cover the cost of materials and supplies. Donations can be sent to the main office in the Upper Elementary School or Primary Elementary School. Please make your donation by March 17 and email Mrs. Lisa Davis with any questions at ldavis@westmorelandschool.org.

We hope you will participate in the Zi3 “Together Again!” STEAM Night!
