Westmoreland Winter Guards team in uniform with medals and a plaque

The Westmoreland Varsity and Junior Varsity Winter Guards each won a bronze medal at the Winter Guard Championships held on April 2.  

Varsity Winter Guard

Both winter guard teams, or color guards, perform indoors during the winter season. Performances are choreographed to music and feature dance, sabre, rifle and flag components. The Varsity Winter Guard, made up of students in grades 8-11, competes in the Scholastic A3 class. The Junior Varsity Winter Guard, made up of students in grade 9 and below, competes in the Cadet class. Both classes are comprised of schools from across New York State.

The following students are on the Westmoreland Varsity Winter Guard:

The following students are on the Westmoreland Junior Varsity Winter Guard:

Nina Aurigema, Abigail Brewer, Kylee Faniglula, Jordan Flint, Alina Kulpa, Carlie LaShure, Kayla Perrault, Marcella Perrault, Abigail Robinson, Arabella Sawanec, Izabella Surace, Addison Vitale and Alexis Watkins
